The next meeting of Liverpool Linux User Group will be at DOES Liverpool on Wednesday September 4th 2019. We’ll meet from 19:00 (7pm) onwards but talks start at 19:30 (7:30pm).

This month we had a request from one of our members for introduction to Git and GitHub so I put the call out to the wider community. Thankfully Zarino Zappia who works out of DoES Liverpool has kindly offered to run this introductory session for us.
In his own words “I’ve been using Git (with and without GitHub) professionally for about 7 years, and I’ve taught it to beginners before, one-on-one.” It should be a lot of fun and having seen Zarino talk before I am very much looking forward to it.
We’re a friendly bunch. Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you’ve been to the LUG before or not. There is no level of technical expertise expected or required. Everyone for hardened kernel hackers to complete novices will be made to feel at home.
VENUE DETAILS: You can find directions to DOES here and many more details on their website.
Hope to see many of you there, feel free to email dan@danlynch.org with any questions. I will get it on my phone 🙂
