Greetings one and all, it’s almost time for another Liverpool LUG meeting, the August meeting wil take place Wednesday August 1st!
This month I (Dan Lynch) will be cobbling together a talk about an Open Source home automation solution I’ve been testing. It all runs off a Raspberry Pi 3 and seems to have lots of potential. WARNING: I am not expert on this and will be asking as many questions as I answer. This is how it should be I think. An exchange of knowledge and ideas.
The project is all written in Python and it’s called Home-Assistant.io if you want to check it out in advance.
If that sounds good then come down to DOES Liverpool at 19:00 BST (7pm) on Wednesday August 1st and join us! Everyone is welcome from beginners to hardened kernel developers.
VENUE DETAILS: You can find directions to DOES here and many more details on their website.
Hope to see many of you there, feel free to leave comments on the blog or email dan@danlynch.org with any questions. I will get it on my phone 🙂
Dan
