LivLUG June 2018 Meeting

The next meeting of Liverpool Linux User Group will take place on Wednesday June 6th at 19:00 (7pm)

A basic flow diagram of devices being linked by MQTT messagesOnly the second real meeting at the new home of DoES Liverpool and if you haven’t been yet it’s worth coming down to check it out. Our very own Neil Bothwick will be telling us a bit about MQTT, a lightweight messaging protocol with many different uses. It’s very popular in IoT (Internet Of Things) applications.

After the talk there’ll be plenty of time to hang out and chat. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available in DoES, or we may move on to a local pub. The group can decide on the night.

Find us at the NEW HOME of DoES Liverpool in the The Tapestry on 68-76 Kempston Street, Liverpool. It’s on the 1st floor and if the shutter is down there’s a phone number to ring and someone will let you in. There’s also a button for the buzzer located under the the little box where the key goes in to operate the shutter.

Full location details and directions can be found here – https://doesliverpool.com/location/

We are friendly bunch and all are welcome regardless of technical knowledge or experience.

Hope to see you there,

Dan Lynch
