Hear ye, hear ye! The next meeting of Liverpool Linux User Group will take place on Wednesday February 7th at 19:00 (7pm GMT)
We don’t have a formal talk planned this time but I can give a quick update to my previous talk on virtualization with Proxmox VE. I’ve since updated it to a newer version and also got Docker working alongside on the same host, with the Portainer web interface for management which I will demo. Despite some niggles over network bridging I’ve yet to figure out it actually works very well. All other discussion topics welcome on the night, probably followed by the customary post meeting visit to a nearby pub for more chat.
Find us at DoES Liverpool in the Gostin’s Building on Hanover St, Liverpool City Centre. There is a working lift and the building has good accessibility for all. We’ll be in the first room on the left as you exit the lifts on the 4th floor.
Full location details and directions can be found here – https://doesliverpool.com/location/
We are friendly bunch and all are welcome regardless of technical knowledge or experience.
Hope to see you there,
Dan Lynch
